About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Product Manager to apply product thinking to their ownership of the delivery track of our product and engineering team to ensure the right work is prioritized and built to desired outcomes. Beyond delivery, this role owns product validation across staging and production, go-to-market coordination for product launches, and ongoing stakeholder engagement, ensuring what we build is validated against desired outcomes, launches land successfully, and stakeholders are informed and aligned. The ideal candidate has enough technical fluency to engage credibly with engineering teams. This role is designed to evolve into owning a full product vertical as we grow, including customer discovery and roadmap ownership.

What You’ll Do

Delivery Track Ownership

  • Develop a deep understanding of our product, customers, and roadmap to make informed prioritization decisions and surface meaningful perspective to the Director of Product

  • Apply product thinking to your ownership of the delivery track, collaborating with the Director of Product on epics and product specs to ensure alignment on desired outcomes and that engineering has what they need to break down the work necessary to support them

  • Manage grooming and planning ceremonies in coordination with engineering, translating their estimates into a delivery plan and communicating timelines to stakeholders

  • Apply product judgment to prioritize technical tasks, tech debt, bug reports, reporting requests, and internal and external stakeholder requests against strategic company priorities

  • Own epic and fix version management in Jira, ensuring the board accurately reflects our roadmap and active priorities

  • Partner with the Director of Product to manage scope and priority decisions as needed during delivery

  • Continuously evaluate our delivery process and own the implementation of improvements that increase team clarity, velocity, or quality

  • Surface iteration opportunities observed during delivery and coordinate with the Director of Product to validate and prioritize them

QA & Validation

  • Validate completed work against desired outcomes and the UX defined in the prototype, confirming what we build achieves its intended purpose before and after release

  • Coordinate regression issues identified in QA and manage test scenarios with the QA team to identify coverage gaps across manual and automated testing

  • Lead UAT and stakeholder sign-off sessions, applying an agreed upon definition of done to confirm work is complete and ready for release

Go To Market

  • Own the logistics and cross-team coordination for product launches, ensuring teams are aligned on timing, sequencing, and readiness

  • Ensure proper tracking is in place prior to launch to monitor progress against stated outcomes

  • Manage release notes, summarizing the why behind what shipped to keep stakeholders informed and aligned

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Ensure clear ownership and accountability across active product initiatives, keeping the right stakeholders informed and aligned

  • Meet regularly with stakeholders to provide status updates on their priorities, intake new requests, and support prioritization decisions

What We’re Looking For

  • 1 to 3 years of Product Management experience

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a track record of catching gaps in outcomes and delivery risks before they reach the team

  • Hands-on experience with Jira, including epic, sprint board, and release management

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between design, engineering, and operations

  • Proactive and organized with a user-first mindset

Nice to Have

  • Enough technical fluency to engage credibly with engineering teams and ensure desired outcomes are accurately reflected in delivery plans

  • Prior experience in a software engineering, QA, or technical program management role

  • Experience coordinating go-to-market launches across multiple teams or functions

  • Experience in the philanthropic sector, fintech, or B2B SaaS (including APIs)

  • Exposure to operations or reporting support workflows

What Success Looks Like

30 days

  • Solid understanding of our product, customers, team workflows, and active initiatives

  • Clear view of the delivery process, how we work with engineering and design, and where you can start adding immediate value

60 days

  • Full ownership of grooming and planning ceremonies in coordination with engineering, epic and fix version management in Jira, release management, and release notes

  • Confidently translating delivery plans from engineering and ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into timelines and progress

  • Full ownership of QA coordination and product validation

  • Assume existing stakeholder syncs and begin applying product judgment to prioritization conversations

90 days

  • First full release cycle completed end-to-end, including post-release validation

  • Actively engaged in UAT and go-to-market coordination, with a clear understanding of our launch and validation process

  • At least one process improvement identified and implemented that increases team clarity, velocity, or quality

6 months

  • Delivery is running smoothly and independently, freeing the Director of Product to stay focused on discovery

  • Full ownership of prioritization across technical tasks, tech debt, bug reports, and internal and external stakeholder requests

  • Roadmap epics are defined and sequenced well ahead of delivery, giving engineering a clear view of what’s coming

  • Actively contributing perspective to roadmap planning in partnership with the Director of Product

  • You’ve identified at least one product iteration opportunity or surfaced a perspective that has influenced a roadmap or scope decision

12+ months

  • Expanded scope to own a full product vertical, including customer discovery and roadmap ownership
